For the fouth event under the Folksounds Label, the ″Summer Workshops 2016″, must courses are ready for enrollment, small changes might still be possible. We will again bring together multiple instruments and musical styles, this time including a reach across the Atlantic ocean to North America to bring Old-time elements under one roof together with European folk music for four days.
One focus is again on old German folk music, including an extension back in time with the course “Songs from the Middle Ages.
In a further exciting experiment we try to bring the mouth harp back to folk music, where it once started, then moved to blues and even mainstream music.
Please reserve dates in your calendar for the next event, the Winter Workshops 2017 from 26. to 29.1.2017!
